I joined the Shopgate marketing team at the end of March 2020 as the Senior Content Marketing Manager to assist with the rebrand and growth of Shopgate’s global positioning as a SaaS omnichannel retail solution. While at Shopgate, I was responsible for establishing the content strategy for the company while navigating the obstacles brought on as a result of the pandemic. Unfortunately, the US office closed as a result of the pandemic.

Although I was the Marketing Strategy Manager for my previous marketing agency, Enventys Partners, my content-specific responsibilities included creating and implementing an overall content strategy that supported the marketing messaging for the agency, as well as writing blogs, website pages, long-form content, sales materials, and more. Every decision made in regards to our content strategy was data-driven and based around our two-pronged approach of offering thought leadership as well as moving our customers through our funnel to support our sales staff.

Chili Technology, most popular for their flagship sleep product, the ChiliPad, a heating and cooling mattress pad, needed assistance with their overall digital presence. Services for Chili Technology included blog writing, email marketing creation and implementation, and Facebook and Twitter management. Some of our most notable strategies and campaigns included Sleep Week, where I sent daily newsletters to increase customer engagement and sales, as well as brought in a physician who specializes in sleep to write a guest blog post. We also capitalized on their ten year anniversary, where I created a content strategy that encompassed content marketing, social media management, and email marketing, and assisted the team’s paid media plan. Together, we earned a 179% increase in sales during our August anniversary campaign.

Brondell is a healthy home company, specializing in water and air purifiers, bidets, and more. During my time with this client, I was responsible for content writing and social media management. As a result of SEO and promotional strategies to increase reach, I was able to double blog sessions during my time with the client, with the top blogs receiving tens of thousands of sessions.
