About me

I am astounded by, and appreciate daily, the importance of understanding how to communicate with one another, and how words, when used properly, can change a moment and connect us in the most unexpected ways.

I am a passionate storyteller (some could argue that I am long-winded but I just see the value in painting a picture with words) who never turns down a karaoke challenge. I am an all-around glass-half-full person who is always searching for the hidden meanings of life while trying to take a step back to understand the bigger picture. From a young age, I have innately understood the importance of cataloging memories for posterity, from saving birthday cards to journaling to my most recent discovery, the One Second Everyday app (as an example, take a look at my 2018 and 2019).

Even though I’ll admit to having watched The Office in full at least nine times, I’m always up for something new. That’s why you’ll likely find me in a local Skillpop class learning a new outlet to feed my creativity (hand lettering, calligraphy, essential oils, or watercoloring, just to name a few), or simply out and about exploring new destinations locally and abroad.

I’m always game for a personality test and am more than intrigued by the findings. My Enneagram scored as a 2 wing 3 (but I’ve also scored as a 3 wing 2, what’s new there?). For a deeper, more unfiltered look into my personality and strengths, I feel that they are best described with my Clifton Strengths Finder results:

Individualization - They see each person as one of a kind and are intrigued by the unique qualities of each person. They tend to have a natural ability to discover uniqueness or hidden talents in others.

Arranger - One of the two critical decision-making strengths, Arrangers perceive how things work together, the patterns, and the connections, and make decisions that involve many factors.

Learner - These individuals have a strong desire to learn and to continuously improve through learning.

Empathy -  These individuals have a high EQ (or emotional quotient). They can sense what other people are feeling and perhaps can name and explain feelings in ways that others simply cannot.

Positivity - These individuals are light-hearted, generous, optimistic, and enthusiastic.
